Madrid-based duo SOSANDLOW, owners of the esteemed record label Musica Cavernicola, proudly presents their latest release, „Unchained.“ The duo, known for their ventures into indie dance and collaborations with labels such as Sincopat, Stereo, Sinchi, and Cacao, now make a triumphant return to the vibrant sounds of house music. This highly anticipated release is now available through the renowned Valencia-based label, TheBasement Discos, from July 14th.
Daniel from SOSANDLOW shared his thoughts on the new release, stating, „The return to dancefloors after the pandemic has brought back powerful and rave-oriented sounds. At the same time, styles like Melodic House or Indie Dance show undeniable signs of exhaustion. We felt the need to reconnect with our roots and delve back into the realm of house music to regain our sense of identity and connection with our sound and sets.“
„Unchained“ comprises two original tracks and two remixes, showcasing the duo’s passion and creative versatility. The title track, a high-energy piece with a touch of 90s spirit and jazzy melodies, exudes a playful and rebellious vibe with its syncopated vocals. The second original, „Beam of Light,“ is a power-house track that aims to demolish dancefloors with its pulsating energy.
Furthermore, „Unchained“ features two exceptional remixes. The first, crafted by Craftsmanship, delivers a blend of analog and classic house sounds, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Lastly, Siggatunez breaks the mold with a breakbeat foundation and a substantial increase in BPM. This old-school-inspired track transports listeners back to the raves of the ’90s, creating an immersive experience.
