POHODA IN THE UK FESTIVAL AWARDS AND AFTERMOVIE 2018 RELEASED

Pohoda is again nominated for the UK Festival Award in the category of “Best Overseas Festival”. The category features 64 best European festivals outside of the UK. Apart from Pohoda, you will find festivals such as Roskilde, Tomorrowland, NOS Alive, Sziget, Open’er, EXIT, Lollapalooza Berlin and many more on the list. You can support your favorite festivals by the end of October. The final shortlist will be decided by a combination of fans’ and board of professionals’ votes.  Since its inception in 2004, the UK Festival Awards has been dedicated to recognising and celebrating the collective accomplishments of the nation’s most beloved industry. Across its categories, the Awards acknowledges the achievements of organisers and suppliers in the fields of programming, production, innovation, emerging talent, marketing, hospitality, catering and more. Pohoda appears in the category of the best “overseas” festivals on a regular basis. In 2015, the festival made it to the shortlist of 10 best festival in this prestigious category also thanks to our visitors’ votes.

We published the aftermovie of Pohoda 2018
Nine months before the beginning of Pohoda 2019, we published the aftermovie of the 22nd edition of our festival. When the director of Pohoda Acoustic session, Boris, saw the last song of Jamie Cullum’s concert, he immediately knew he wanted it as background music for the aftermovie from Pohoda 2018. Jamie’s energetic take on his song Mixtape with the fantastic reaction from Pohoda attenders was one of the many highlights of this year. It’s impossible to capture all the beautiful situations in one video and that is the reason the Roadtrip Studio focused on every year’s unquestionable highlight – the great atmosphere created by our best festivalgoers.
