The Ibiza-born DJ and producer Anna Tur puts her stamp on a 2011 trance classic from two electronic music legends, in one of the most significant moments of her career to date.

Anna Tur has delivered a new version of „I’m Alive“, the track Paul Oakenfold and Infected Mushroom released in 2011 that has since become a touchstone of the trance canon. The Ibiza-born DJ and producer works from the original but filters it through her own sonic language — a production that honours the spirit of the track while pulling it firmly into the sound that has taken her to some of the world’s most important stages.

Being trusted to remix two figures of this weight places Anna Tur in territory very few artists get to occupy. Oakenfold is one of the defining names in the genre’s history: a true pioneer, multiple-time winner of the world’s best DJ title, and one of electronic music’s biggest global names. Infected Mushroom, for their part, are the Israeli duo that shaped psychedelic trance on a worldwide scale and remain an essential reference point for the scene.
That Perfecto Records, the legendary label Oakenfold himself founded, handed this remix to Anna Tur speaks to where her career stands right now.
Her schedule reflects the same momentum. This summer she plays five dates at UNVRS alongside Carl Cox, a night at Hï Ibiza with Meduza and James Hype, and a session at Pacha with Mau P. Beyond the island, her calendar takes in Rave The Planet – Love Parade in Berlin, Aquasella, Hafen 49 in Mannheim, World Club Dome in Frankfurt, and Hive in Zürich.
On 3 July, Anna also recorded a live session for HÖR Berlin, one of the most respected livestreaming platforms in contemporary electronic music
On the releases front, three more originals are already confirmed for the coming months: 28 August on Lowlita, 18 September on Say Musick, and 16 October on Arcane.
The remix of „I’m Alive“ is out now on all digital platforms.
