Eurosonic Noorderslag is the European showcase festival and is widely recognized as the platform for European music. As the place to discover new acts that are to dominate the big festivals, the event attracts both music lovers and professionals from the European music industry. At Eurosonic (11, 12 and 13 January) upcoming European acts perform in intimate venues across Groningen. Noorderslag on January 14 presents the most happening and important bands and acts from the Netherlands, and takes place in a sold-out Oosterpoort venue in Groningen.
