Now get ready for EXIT 2.0!
From July 4 to July 7, the massive Serbian EXIT festival reached a new historic peak, breaking its daily attendance record already on the first day, on Thursday, and summing up to over 200.000 festivalgoers from 90 countries during the four days and nights!
The 18th century Petrovaradin Fortress saw a diverse lineup on over 20 stages and 20 other zones, built up on a rock looking over the Danube to the charming city of Novi Sad.
Adding to the lasting impression were leading music names such as The Cure, Greta Van Fleet, The Chainsmokers, Carl Cox, Skepta, Amelie Lens, Paul Kalkbrenner, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Solomun, Tom Walker, IAMDDB, Jeff Mills, Chase & Status, Desiigner, Maceo Plex, Lost Frequencies and loads of others!
From The Cure’s full-blooded concert, Carl Cox’ solo set at the Dance Arena packed with 25.000 dancers, The Chainsmokers’s delirious show, Greta Van Fleet’s euphoric performance, all the way up to Amelie Lens’ closing set, which she finished with Prodigy’s “Firestarter”, honoring the late Keith Flint and closing the festival altogether on Monday morning.
As the one of very few major festivals that was born from social activism, EXIT once again welcomed activists from the Standing Rock tribe who fight for preservation of life on Earth. The festival also featured video messages from Yoko Ono and the world’s best tennis player, Novak Djokovic, who has launched a long-term cooperation between his and EXIT’s foundation for developing pre-school education in Serbia.
