BILBAO BBK LIVE ADDS 20 NEW ACTS FOR 2019 INCLUDING LIAM GALLAGHER AND THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE QUEEN

Bilbao BBK Live expands on its already impressive lineup for 2019, with another 20 new acts today, including Liam Gallagher and The Good, The Bad & The Queen. 

Taking place from 11 – 13 July 2019, Bilbao BBK Live is one of this summer’s hottest festival tickets. Set atop the Kobetamendi Mountain with stunning views over the city of Bilbao, an unparalleled concert space, this year’s line-up for the forward-thinking Spanish festival features appearances from The Strokes, Suede, Brockhampton, Rosalía, Idles, Thom Yorke, Princess Nokia, Nils Frahm, Laurent Garnier, Honey Dijon, Bicep, Octo Octa and many, many more.

Leading today’s line-up additions are Liam Gallagher, who is set to make an exclusive appearance at the festival, and Damon Albarn’s supergroup – comprising members of The Clash, The Verve, and Fela Kuti – The Good, The Bad & The Queen.  

Also set to ascend Bilbao’s Kobetamendi Mountain are Cardiff four-piece Boy Azooga; London-based multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Georgia; Las Ligas Menores, the latest independent pop revelation to hail from Argentina, with their straightforward lo-fi pop lyricizing love lost, friendship, uncertainty, and growing into post-adolescence; Ider, one of the most highly praised acts to emerge from the UK underground; Catalonian quartet Mourn; British rapper Nadia Rose; and French foursome The Psychotic Monks.

The roster of national talent at the festival is bolstered by the addition of Anari, one of the most personal voices in Basque music; Antifan, self-described hodgepodge of guitars, basses, and autotune; Baiuca, merging of Galician tradition and the most popular electronica and avant-garde trends of the moment; Cecilio G, one of the key figures of trap; Cupido, supergroup made up of Pimp Flaco and Solo Astro who made it big with the superhit „No sabes mentir“; Andalusian rock outfit Derbi Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba; Lester y Eliza, young local Bilbao act mixing catchy indie-pop hooks with unexpected rhythmic shifts; Nøgen, quintet hailing from San Sebastián mixing English and Basque in their pop-folk tunes; Oso Leone, one of the key national bands of this decade; Perro, a favorite among Spanish festivalgoers; and Second, a quartet from Murcia with 9 albums under their belt who’ve made a name as one of the most cohesive indie bands around thanks to their honest pop-rock songs and solid live show.
