The festival tickets for ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) will go on sale this Saturday, October 28th at 10:00 CEST. Alongside that, the organisation has announced 37 more acts for the festivals Eurosonic and Noorderslag, which will take place 17, 18, 19 and 20 January 2018 in Groningen, Netherlands.
Eurosonic will take place from Wednesday to Friday in the city of Groningen, with the showcase festival featuring emerging artists from all over Europe. Bookers and other music industry representatives flock to ESNS to find new acts to play at clubs and summer festivals around the continent. After playing at earlier editions of ESNS, acts including Mø, Dua Lipa, Hozier, Lost Frequencies and Royal Blood have been established as part of the international music industry. On Saturday, concert venue De Oosterpoort plays host to the best and most current acts from The Netherlands at the Noorderslag festival. Noorderslag is regarded as the best place to check out the promising artists that The Netherlands has to offer.

As well as being a showcase festival, ESNS is a conference and networking opportunity for professionals from the eventing and music industries. The B2B side of the event attracts more than 4,000 entertainment professionals from all sections of the industry, including representatives of over 400 European festivals, managers, agents, publishers, labels, tech companies and event suppliers. Each year, ESNS stages more than 350 showcases all over the city of Groningen as well as offering a comprehensive and focused conference programme of around 150 panels and keynotes, and multiple networking opportunities. The event also hosts annual meetings by music associations, pitch sessions, networking dinners, parties and dedicated areas featuring the very latest thinking and technical innovation in the music, media, interactive and production industries. At this year’s edition Denmark will be the ESNS focus country.
ESNS is also home to several awards ceremonies, among them the European Border Breakers Awards, Buma Music Meets Tech Awards, European Festival Awards and the national Dutch Popprijs.
