With the second edition of Further Future nearing closer, the boutique festival beyond Las Vegas has announced an innovative wellness and spa program with cutting-edge thought leaders like Parsley Health founder Robin Berzin, MD, Bread Head filmmaker Max Lugavere, former NASA Scientist Bear Walker, Ph.D, and Society C founder Daphne Cheng. The wellness program has been curated by the pioneering talent and consulting firm The Wellness Agency, while the spa is being hosted by StyleSeat, the leading online destination for booking beauty services.
In addition to comfort and relaxation, FF002 will bring luminary speakers, tastemaking chefs hosting pop-up dinners, rare mixology options, interactive art exhibits, forward-thinking technology including futurist VR demos, and an eclectic grouping of over 60 globally-renowned musicians including Caribou, Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet, Lee Burridge, and The Pharcyde to the Moapa River Indian Reservation from April 29-May 1.
For those seeking serenity, Further Future has enlisted an enlightened group of experts to host yoga and meditation classes throughout the weekend. Guests can take part in flow yoga with Ally Bogard, restorative experiences iwth SERENE Social co-founder Millana Snow, vedic meditation lessons from The Veda Center director Charlie Knoles, and sunset yoga with eclectic Vegas gym TruFusion.
For a more committed workout, intensive classes will be offered with American Ninja Warrior finalist Travis Brewerand parkour specialist Modern Tarzan. In addition, Equinox will launch their newest fitness class, Headstrong at Further Future. Created by Michael Gervais and Kai Karlstrom, Headstrong is an Active Regeneration workout where high intensity meets mindful movement.
Offering guests pampering and tranquility, FF002 will feature the “Ablyss Spa” with fashion-forward stylists and relaxation specialists, all powered by StyleSeat. The online platform will offer IV drip therapy, body art sessions with airbrush specialist Kelsea Rae, hair styling with extensions expert Brittany Donaldson, intricate henna tattoos with Sabreena Haque, trigger point massage therapy with Raymond Vela, and fantasy makeup with Cassandra Love Lambert. Focusing on the future of the human body and condition, Further Future will offer intimate talks from coveted members of the health community including Functional Forum creator James Maskell, Amplify Effect foundersHeather Rees and Fern Olivia Langham, Initiation course creator Dr. Nikki Star, MD, and diet expert Sarah Anne Stewart. A Sunday Rehab brunch will also take place with yoga, sound healing, and mushroom drinks from fungi expert and Four Sigmatic foods founder Tero Isokauppila.
Guests interested in both physical and mental journeys can take part in adventure travel sessions with holistic practitioner and bio-tracker technologies specialist Bear Walker, traveller and philanthropist Leon Logothetis, and psychedelics master Fabian Piorkowski. This session will cover topics like ayahuasca, yoga, deep meditation retreats, micro-dosing, ibogaine, and the power of pushing the limits of our bodies.
The festivities will officially kick off Friday night with an opening ceremony that includes a networking event with speakers and practitioners, along with a performance from guided meditation leader and Center of The Cyclone founder Biet Simkin. The closing ceremony for the wellness space will take place on Sunday night with Christopher Willits presenting his immersive audiovisual experience Envelop Satellite, followed by morning meditation at theRobot Heart bus.
To ease the entire process, all programming will be available on a branded app and concierge services will be available to help guide attendees through the weekend.
