DGTL AMSTERDAM RELEASES FULL LINE UP FOR 2017 EDITION

We have just announced the full line up of DGTL Amsterdam 2017. Our fifth edition will include two festival days, an opening party on April 14th and two festival days with subsequent after parties on the 15th and 16th of April. We have created our most elaborate line up yet, spanning a range of styles and sounds from acclaimed DJs and live acts in their respective fields.

Friday’s opening event on April 14th, will start off the festival with a hefty bang. Headlining the opener are DGTL’s frequent guests Âme [DJ set] and Mathew Jonson [live]. Adding to this night’s sonic delights and energy are Life And Death maestro DJ Tennis, Amsterdam’s Applescal and a b2b by ex-Trouw staples Patrice Bäumel and Nuno Dos Santos.

The first festival day will see a mixture of international headliners, strong local acts and promising talent from abroad, as well as unique b2b sets. Visitors can also rejoice in a range of special first-time acts that will be making their DGTL debut. Topping the bill this day are: Henrik Schwarz [live], Jamie Jones, Agoria, Jennifer Cardini – who will also be playing a b2b with Studio Barnhus’ Axel Boman on this day -, Jeremy Underground, HVOB, Space Dimension Controller [live], Lord Of The Isles, and a b2b between Leon Vynehall and Ryan Elliott. Worth mentioning are the debut performances of veteran electronic artists Tiga and Max Cooper [DJ set]. On this day, there will also be a special stage in collaboration with one of the top headliners of the festival: Mosaic By Maceo. Here you will find performances by Maceo Plex. The rest of the Mosaic stage will be announced soon.

On Sunday April 16th, the show will move on with headlining acts, such as a live performance by HOWLING and DJ sets by the likes of Dixon, andhim, Rødhåd, DJ Koze, Gerd Janson, Joy Orbison b2b George Fitzgerald, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Midland, plus a b2b set between STERAC and Giegling front man Konstantin. Primetime debut performances will come from Talaboman, the collaboration between Axel Boman and John Talabot and Dutch techno legend Speedy J. Other Dutch acts include, among many others, Detroit Swindle, Delta Funktionen, Job Jobse, Sandrien, Beesmunt Soundsystem.

Additionally, Resident Advisor will host its own stage during both days of the festival with a specially curated line up featuring new acts and unique b2b sets. All of the sets on the RA stage will be live-streamed.

Just like other years, DGTL Amsterdam’s cornerstone sustainability program Revolution will play a significant role in the festival. Visitors can expect a worthy follow-up project to last year’s entirely meat-free festival, which will contribute to the end goal of creating a waste-free festival. Also, DGTL Art will be undergoing a big update. What this means exactly shall be made clear in the coming weeks.
