Cirque Magique: award-winning festival in Belgium

August 5 till 7 2016, the second edition of Cirque Magique takes place, a festival in the countryside of Belgium … far away from civilization and reality. This unique concept, combining electronic music with circus performances, proved to be successful: the first edition was awarded with the ‘Best Breakthrough Festival’ of 2015 by Red Bull Elektropedia Awards.

Cirque Magique chooses resolutely for underground and wants to bring true magic, magic that originates from the heart. They aim at creating an atmosphere that transcends all others in which real miracles can happen. Cirque Magique aims at offering quality on all aspects of the festival, therefore collaborating with the best players in their sector: from the music, performances, decorations, sound and light, to the food, drinks and camping ground.

Music wise, Cirque Magique brings house and techno, from the past to the present and the future. Therefore, Cirque Magique collaborates with, among others, Sweet trade, Feestgedruis and Par’azaar. The full line-up was released today. Cirque Magique wants to create a magical setting in which they invite you to explore your inner circus artist. At Cirque Magique, not only the DJ’s and performers will be the artists, but everyone can participate. Circus workshops and costumes will help with that. Forget who you are in daily life and take this chance to connect with the most expressive side of yourself. Show the grace and skill of an acrobat and your most daring moves. Be funny and creative like a clown who puts a smile on everyone’s face. Be the magician who amazes and pulls many tricks out of his hat …

Stages are built by Hexastructures, known for their unique architecture using pallets. Colorful decorations are created by the South African artists from Artescape.
